Premium Equipment, Secure Results
At Brooks Larson, DDS, we are committed to providing top-notch dental care to give you a smile that you’ll cherish. Therefore, Dr. Larson utilizes advanced dental technology to craft beautiful restorations that will impress your friends, family, and co-workers.
Correctly placing dental implants requires precision, accuracy, and a skilled dentist. Luckily, when you come to Brooks Larson, DDS for your implants, we possess all of the above. With remarkable technology and Dr. Larson’s expertise, we can provide easier, safer, and more accurate dental implants than our competitors.
3D CBCT with i-CAT FLX V®
To facilitate the implant process, Dr. Larson uses a Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) system from i-CAT. This equipment is vital because it generates high-resolution images of your oral structure. These images include your teeth, bones, nerves, and soft tissue.
At Brooks Larson, DDS, we use the images to increase the speed, safety, and effectiveness of the dental implant process. For example, if you’re missing two or more teeth, Dr. Larson might recommend restoring your smile with an implant-supported bridge. For the best effect, we’ll use high-quality images to determine the exact resting place for the implant, so it benefits from the full strength of your jawbone.
Anatomage Invivo 6®
While our CBCT system collects images, we use the Anatomage Invivo 6 software to interpret the pictures and plan dental surgeries and restorations. This software is designed to guide Dr. Larson while he places the dental implant.
This revolutionary software gives Dr. Larson the ability to increase the precision of implant position, angle, and depth. These guides act like GPS for implant surgery, providing step-by-step instructions, so your implant has the highest chance for success.
At Brooks Larson, DDS, we can restore your smile in no time with the help of professional equipment like Anatomage Invivo.
Advanced-Platelet Rich Fibrin (A-PRF) Therapy
While the above was merely technical equipment, Dr. Larson is proud to offer a way to decrease your recovery time dramatically. Advanced-Platelet Rich Fibrin (A-PRF) therapy uses both professional technology and proven techniques to help you heal faster.
A-PRF works by using your blood to make a solution of platelet-rich cells that are applied to the surgical site and encourage clotting, which is the first step toward healing.
The process begins with Dr. Larson removing a small sample of your blood. From there, he’ll use a specially calibrated centrifuge to separate the different components. Then, he will extract the platelet-rich fibrin and smooth it to the desired length and width so that it fits the surgical site.
The platelets, also known as white blood cells, would make their way to the concerned area, but A-PRF skips the wait by placing them directly where they need to go. The platelets contain growth factors which encourage clotting and a faster healing response.
Dr. Larson can complete A-PRF therapy during your procedure, and it’s as painless as a routine blood draw.
